Hello folks,

today is the release day of your favorite novel Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! It was another long chapter and took me about 10 hrs in total to translate or rather write it down. xD

Now, before you novel addicts click on the chapter link, first listen to some administrative stuff:

As I mentioned in my previous blog message, interludes will be now handled as Extra Chapters unless I deem them to be integral part of the main story line. On the sidebar you can now see a button and a list of the upcoming chapters/interludes. I will keep that one updated so that you can always see when the next interlude in sequence is up as Extra Chapter.

Each interlude will require 60 Euro. You ask how I got to this weird sum? Well I put the first 10 interludes in one huge text file, did a character count (51k without spaces) and divided that by 10 to get an average. Including an editor and administrative fee, that’s what I got after setting 10 EUR/1000 chars.

You can regard these donations as encouragement for me to translate the interludes at all and as motivation to get it done quickly in-between the regular 2-week rotation.

If I deem this successful, I will include regular chapters as Extra Chapters on long non-interlude sequences albeit with a different charge due to length.

Good evening minna-san,

a selected few of you might have pondered whether I went into winter hibernation. Well while that might have been nice, it’s (un)fortunately not true. After releasing the latest chapter of Nidoume no Jinsie wo Isekai de I proceeded to translate 2 Chapters of Summoned Slaughterer. Those will be released soon after the next chapter (chapter 25 ) has been posted. Afterwards I plunged into translating the huge workload called chapter 35 of Hachinan tte, sore wa nai desshou!

Well with working right until Christmas, spending time with family etc. on Christmas, we finally managed to get it done.

Now as for the coming translations: I promised my dear loyal editors to each choose a chapter of a series of their liking to be translated as belated Christmas gift. So look forward to that. The first one should be up by tomorrow and if it all goes well then the second will be up by the day after tomorrow.

After that I intend to translate Interlude 4 and Chapter 18 of Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai  de before translating Interlude 8 and 9 of Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou!

Busy days are approaching, huh?

Well it took some time but, yea, it is also quite long. But don’t fret, me! Chapter 35 is even 1,5 times longer!

So don’t expect chapter 35 to come out quickly. Well on the bright side, there will be some interesting developments after this grand fight in chapter 34 (this author really needs to learn from Summoned Slaughterer author how to properly write about fighting!!! It’s always like 2 liners fight and 200 liners of blah surrounding the circumstances of the fight xD). Well since I am looking forward to that chapter I don’t think it will take too long either. 🙂

Next up is a chapter of Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de or maybe 2? We shall see, as I haven’t checked out how long the next ones are.

Heyas folks,

albeit a tad slower I am still alive and thus you get chapter 34 of Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! today. Of course you are also allowed to thank Kruncs for his awesome job in correcting my terrible engrish. 😉

Some of you sent me mails asking for me to re-host Yomigaeri no Maou in some form. To make things short: That won’t happen. Why? Because I am lazy and don’t see any value in doing so. There won’t be anyone picking up the story because it’s crappy and very likely there won’t be any company picking it up to publish it as an English book either because it’s crappy.  If there really is a translator masochistic enough to do so, I will send them the chapters over if they ask, but I seriously doubt that happening because the story is …

Well as for Black Summoner, I will host it soon enough and yea I didn’t forget about the extra chapter I owe you guys. I have a place in mind already, so sit tight and wait for it to appear. :p

since so many of you were complaining about wanting that missing interlude, I took a peek at it wanting to get a head start and ended up translating it in one go …

Before you get your link thingy:

For those of you who love to get spoilered by reading summaries or such at other places, be as kind to keep your spoilers to yourself!

There are plenty other places like jcafe24 where you can discuss the chapters up to the newest novel release without having to come expressively here to spoiler those of us who want to follow the translation without reading ahead and yes, that includes me!

Personally I don’t see any fun in reading ahead or reading summaries but everyone got different preferences. But since I am reading the novel as I am translating it, I’d be very pleased if you could keep the spoilers to yourself. If I wanted to read ahead, there would be no need to write the chapters down, right?

Thus, be fair to others and bear it in mind that you shouldn’t take the enjoyment of reading new content from other readers.

That being said, it’s truly a befitting interlude, so enjoy it. Please also extend your thanks to editor-sama kruncs for quickly adjusting his busy schedule and editing the interlude on short call!

As for the future plans, next will be a regular chapter (34) then there will be 1 interlude, then one more regular chapter and lastly 2 more interludes which will end the interluding for quite a long time. Depending on the length of the interludes, I might do those in between as extra chapters. Of course, if they as long as some of the recent chapters, they will be included into the weekly scheduling as any regular chapter.

Please welcome wewe and Sage aboard Infinite Novel Translations as editors. Both of them will join Hachinan-gumi and mainly work on making the earlier chapters of the predecessor translators  more readable!
