Kakei Senki wo Kakageyo! – Chapter 7: Herbivores, carnivores, a shepherd and me

Heyas folks,

sorry for the slight delay in release time but this chapter was once again quite difficult and abstract at some parts (though that’s one of the fun parts of this novel).

Thus the language might not flow well at some points, but I’m open to any kind of suggestions as for fixing errors or improving the quality by you, the readers.

Also, this time’s introduced character I’m not 100% sure whether it’s a male or a female. For now I will assume it to be a male following the illustration of volume 1 of the LN, but I might change it if I find an indication for it to be otherwise.

The next chapter will be next week on Saturday.

Kakei Senki wo Kakageyo! – Chapter 6: It’s the twisting of good and evil because of a strange coincidence

Heyas folks,

here we go with another chapter of this deep and profound story. The author’s complicated way of expressing caused me quite a few headaches this time. xD

Please also note: When Bertrand talks to Marco he is using overly polite language. As for Oyvua, his speech is that of an uneducated farmer, not vulgar but sometimes close to it. Since I can’t express it well in English, I chose this way to inform you guys.

Lastly, if you like this novel, leave a review on NU! Personally I believe this is a novel worth to get some positive publicity, but oh well. ^^

Kakei Senki wo Kakageyo! – Chapter 3: The dearly missed atmosphere of kendo sounds

Heyas folks,

here you go with the next chapter of Kakei Senki wo Kakageyo!

This one uses the PoV of a new character. It’s an interesting read for sure. And the next chapter will get even more interesting. ^^

Well the chapter is edited by myself so it might appear a bit bumpy and not flow too well at some places. Also it was sometimes difficult to separate between the characters thoughts and the passive narration. I tried my best though.

In other words, I am still looking for an editor confident in their own English language skills to help me with editing this.

The next chapter is planned for Saturday, the 16th July.

Kakei Senki wo Kakageyo! – Chapter 2: The hand of mine is small and frail

Well yes!

I wanted to test how fast I can translate a chapter of this series over the weekend. Well, the language is definitely not easy but I think a got a good grasp on a possible release speed. 😀

I am still looking for a dedicated editor for this one. Sadly, simple spell checking and grammar check will likely be insufficient. It took me 2 hours to TLC/Edit it myself and I still think it doesn’t flow that well even as I hit the limit of my English language knowledge. I think this novel deserves a proper edit to do justice to its rich and decent vocabulary. If you are a challenger, who is very fluent in English and possesses a rich English vocabulary, feel free to contact me at [email protected].

Well, the next chapter will probably take a while as I got other stuff on my plate for now, but this novel looks like a keeper, so look forward to more of it. 🙂

Kakei Senki wo Kakageyo! – Chapter 1: Listen up! Read the newspapers

Phew,

it’s difficult to translate but fun in its own way. Expect this series to be handled as side project for a little while longer, but I intend to make it a weekly series in the near future, especially if the chapter length remains this way. 🙂

The author switches between the story views quite erratically, thus I marked the peddler’s thoughts in italic.

Continuing from my editor recruitment post, this is one of the series where I have no editor at all. And unfortunately this one really needs an editor in my opinion. Well, for now it is self-edited, so feel free to point out any errors. 🙂

Don’t ask about the next chapter, I will release it once I get a little gap in my schedule which I hope will be soon as I like this series.

Kakei Senki wo Kakageyo! – Chapter 0: The day of the Sacred Flame Festival

Heyas folks,

Infinite Novel Translations is proud to present you, its newest addition! A dark story driven with revenge and slaughter will unfold very soon!

For now I will translate the chapters of this novel, which has finished with 148 web novel chapters and is currently at 3 light novel volume releases, in-between my regular releases. The previous translator dropped it due to difficulty of the language (he ain’t wrong with that), so I am picking it up and am restarting the translation (only 2 chapters have been translated so far).

As this story seems to be totally down my line, *evil smirk*, I am eager to translate it for you guys and hope for it to become a popular, highly-anticipated read for you guys. 🙂

I shall also use this opportunity to introduce our newest editor, Stephen. Thanks to his effort, this chapter’s language improved greatly! He will be working on Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! for the moment but I am drawn to drag him into helping me with this novel in the near future! 😀

|>> Enjoy the read! <<|
