Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! – Interlude 20: Sorcery Guild

Heyas folks,

one more interlude from my owed extra interludes for you to read. Another marathon as it was a bit long (as usual with this novel). Well, this time, it is slightly lighter than interlude 19.

I recommend to read the note at the beginning of the interlude too.

The next extra interlude is already paid for, but even though Asvan might chew me out, I will have to postpone translating this one for a bit. One reason being that my vacations are over next week and the other reason being that interlude 21 takes place after chapter 50, thus I put a little lower priority on it currently.

Thanks to the anonymous donor who enabled this interlude!

Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! – Interlude 19: The depression of Baumeister family’s eldest son

Evening fellow readers,

in something like a translation marathon of round about 10 hrs, including the editing, I managed to finish Interlude 19 as next extra interlude for you guys. One more interlude and we are caught up with the storyline (Interlude 20 is after chapter 44 iirc).

This interlude has a nicely dark touch, so twisted people, like me, will probably like it. However, there are a few notes you should know before reading:

  • First off, I think the author fucked up the tenses majorly in there. He used almost always present tense/future tense (not separated in Japanese) while talking about past events and likewise used past tense at some parts that should be present tense. I took the liberty to fix it because otherwise the whole thing would be a pain to read, though I don’t claim to have gotten all of it right. xD
  • Another thing, Kurt calls his father “oyaji” which also can be translated as “old man.” I think it has a bit of derogatory touch to it but I still used father. Just remember that part (only exception is when he calls him “dad”). Towards the end Kurt’s language gets rather derogatory all together but it’s expressed in the nuances of the Japanese way of talking rather than directly swearing as such. So take the whole thing with a pint of salt.

Extend your thanks to Asvan, Raymond R. and an anonymous donor for giving you this chapter.

Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! – Interlude 18: Sequel after capturing the Underground Ruin

Heyas everyone,

here’s one of my owned extra interludes. The interlude completely follows the PoV of Burkhart.

I welcome any spelling/grammar corrections as this one is completely edited by myself once again. Somehow I guess this message is getting kind of redundant slowly… xD Oh well, so many readers and not even 0,001% considers applying as editor, kind of sad, isn’t it… ?

All of the older chapters have now been edited by Garit and Zazabooze! Chapter 23 and 24 still need some checking with me being the bottleneck here. But, great thanks for the nice work to the two of them! Both have started working on the book versions of Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou and Garit will become the editor for Kakei Senki wo Kakageyo!

Extend your thanks to Asvan and Teafa for making this interlude possible!!!

On another note: After listening to the various comments of the readers about my copyright measurements and considering it for a bit, I decided to cease the extra work of impeding the copying of content. At the same time, I decided that if a series’ readership should drop gradually due to people reading the chapters I translate on other sites, I will simply drop the translation of said series, no question asked. Saves me the trouble to bother with trying to protect this blog’s content and allows you, the readers, to decide yourself whether translations will go on.

Also, in the last days I had to read quite a few insulting and swearing comments. I don’t mind people stating their opinion but I do mind if people get personal over it. Such people will be immediately banned. There is a page called Rules of Conduct and I would be glad if everyone follows the rules written there. Otherwise I will simply disable all comments on the blog.

Shasu

Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! – Chapter 47: Once again Klaus – Part 2

Phew,

now that was once again a bulk of text to write. Took me around 15 hrs for writing and checking altogether. xD

Kruncs will likely check it once he gets back, thus you have to put up with my edit until then.

I added a text anchor at the start of the chapter page, so you can easily get down to the end of part 1.

The next chapter, 48, will be released in a little less than 2 weeks, on the 21st August, if all goes well.

~ Thanks to the Patrons of Hachinan for supporting the series. ~

Kakei Senki wo Kakageyo! – Chapter 7: Herbivores, carnivores, a shepherd and me

Heyas folks,

sorry for the slight delay in release time but this chapter was once again quite difficult and abstract at some parts (though that’s one of the fun parts of this novel).

Thus the language might not flow well at some points, but I’m open to any kind of suggestions as for fixing errors or improving the quality by you, the readers.

Also, this time’s introduced character I’m not 100% sure whether it’s a male or a female. For now I will assume it to be a male following the illustration of volume 1 of the LN, but I might change it if I find an indication for it to be otherwise.

The next chapter will be next week on Saturday.

Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! – Chapter 47: Once again Klaus – Part 1

Heyas folks,

only one week remaining until my vacation! :3

And some people filled up the interlude cue to the brink! Well so much for my vacation… XD

Ah, yea, this chapter is probably the longest I’ve translated so far. Probably, because I’m too lazy to check. ><;;

Well Part 1 is 25% of the actual chapter but it had a good point to stop at, so well…

Also, please help out with completing the Glossary, if I missed any characters, locations or special terms in the Glossary, feel free to point them out and I will add those. Thanks~

This chapter was edited by myself as Kruncs is still enjoying the sun n’ beach.

Thanks to my patrons, Asvan and Dark Josh supporting this series!

|>> Here you go! A slightly early release by 1 hour cause I felt like it. :p <<|

Kakei Senki wo Kakageyo! – Chapter 6: It’s the twisting of good and evil because of a strange coincidence

Heyas folks,

here we go with another chapter of this deep and profound story. The author’s complicated way of expressing caused me quite a few headaches this time. xD

Please also note: When Bertrand talks to Marco he is using overly polite language. As for Oyvua, his speech is that of an uneducated farmer, not vulgar but sometimes close to it. Since I can’t express it well in English, I chose this way to inform you guys.

Lastly, if you like this novel, leave a review on NU! Personally I believe this is a novel worth to get some positive publicity, but oh well. ^^
