Evenin’ folks,

as promised yesterday, another interlude of Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou!

This time it’s the final appearance of everyone’s beloved Kurt-sama. There’s a few things to say before that: The Japanese language uses words/kanji to show emotions attached to a sentence sometimes like doubt, like, dislike and such. Naturally there’s no corresponding thing in western languages. For the sentences, where Kurt shows his contempt, I used derogatory language. Also, if you think “Ah, that guy’s dead anyway, no point in reading this” you will miss out on some insights, so preserve!

Also, I changed the illustration in Interlude 21 after Raufgar pointed it out.

Interlude 23 will be released next Tuesday, the 3rd January, Omake 1 will follow the day after. I will release parts 2+3 of Chapter 53 on Sunday, the 1st. In exchange there won’t be a release on Sunday, the 8th.

first off, apologies to those, who donated for interludes, for the long time it takes to get them done. Unfortunately I haven’t much time in my schedule during regular work weeks. As it is, I’m currently releasing 2,5 chapters per week (all my series’ of course, not Hachinan only), add to that RL and you will understand how difficult it is to work on anything additional. Thus I usually do mass releases of Interludes during my vacations. Hope you guys can forgive me for that.

Thus, though it’s a bit late, thanks to Asvan for enabling this interlude.

I will try to get Interlude 22 done until tomorrow, though no promises with those text walls. Interlude 23 and Omake 1 will follow next week.

Though it might sound a bit like money-grubbing, but if the donations reach up to another interlude until Friday next week, I will translate Omake 2 within these vacations. Reason for me stating this is: After Omake 2 there are 9 regular chapters, Omake 3 and then 10+ regular chapters. So there won’t be many Interludes/Omakes after Omake 2 for a while.

Lastly, hovering over unknown words with your mouse sometimes gives a tooltip. ^^

here’s part 1 of chapter 53. I will likely split it into 3 parts as its length is on the smaller size (well still around 4 SS chapters though).

Important:

With Christmas coming up next week, I’m not sure whether I will be able to release another part. I have vacation starting from 22nd, but with all the Christmas shopping and other errands as well as the nasty layout of Christmas being on weekend, I doubt I will have much time.

Afterwards I will catch up on the paid interludes and release those. It depends on you how many of those I will release in a row. With the current 2 I might even stockpile 1 or 2 in advance. 😉

The next part will be definitely out on Sunday, the 1st January though. ^^

originally I intended this bit to be finished during the week, but well, life’s a bitch after all.

I moved one of the illustrations of the chapter to a more appropriate spot.

Chapter 53 will start next week, before that there’s Omake 2, which will be added as extra chapter to the list. After that it will be a long run of regular chapters. As mentioned before I will tackle the sponsored interludes/omakes during my holidays. December is a month with many social obligations after all. For those, who donated towards them, sorry for the delay. I try my best, but with a full-time job, it’s not easy to get enough free time.

Also, regarding Kakei Senki wo Kakageyo! … I didn’t drop it. With Saturday being the only day in the week where I can translate it, it’s kind of difficult to keep it as more than a side project as Saturday’s the only day that is really free schedule-wise. Well, the next chapter is really interesting and I got it at over 50% already, so look forward to that.

This time I didn’t forget the text anchor either! Last time I placed the anchor but forgot the link. xD

this time a slightly bigger chunk of the chapter. There’s around 25% remaining of this chapter. So, if I get time during the week, I might finish it up. Well, that is after translating chapter 76 of Summoned Slaughterer. We shall see, what RL has in stock for me, shall we not?

On a brighter side, the author has recently picked up his slack and has been releasing new chapters at a quicker pace after a  break. All in all, there are now 190 chapters (including interludes, omakes, etc). So there’s plenty to look forward to.

first off I should tell you that chapter 52 is a single string of text that has no paragraphs (except the one at the beginning). As such I made a break at a place I deemed fit. This chapter will likely have 3 parts.

Also, I’m only adding the names of who’s talking for those where it’s obvious from now on. Previously I simply interpreted it, but I don’t think that’s the proper way as it is guesswork in the end.

Next, I added the cover of volume 5 to the ToC and also added the illustrations from volume 5 in chapter 51. Looks like volume 5 starts there, as expected, so, yea, look forward to new pictures n’ stuff. I will add the illustrations of volume 5 on my Facebook page, so if you want to spoiler yourself, go there.

Now, after chapter 52 there’s interlude 23 and omake 2. I will clear my cue in the Christmas time since I got two weeks of vacation there and I don’t have much of leeway to do so before that. The cue covers so far interludes 21/22. Omakes will be handled just like interludes. After omake 2, there are like 15+ chapters with no interludes inbetween, so you can look forward to a lot of story advancing.

since I’ve been ill the last 2 days and got bored rolling about in bed, I remembered about the extra chapter sponsored by the INT Patrons I still owe.

Usually that would be Summoned Slaughterer but since my mind needed something easy to translate, I simply finished off chapter 51 of Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! I’m pretty sure they won’t actually mind anyway. :p

The last part is actually a good read too, though the author was a bit mean and ended it in a kind of cliffhanger. Oh well, if all goes well, I will start on chapter 52 this weekend.

I had to take a short break last weekend due to RL, but now I will continue with releasing parts of Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! weekly again (I hope).

This week’s part was cut at a place of a change of the plotline even if there is no paragraph by the author. I will split this chapter in 3 parts. Fortunately it isn’t that long, so this much should be sufficient.

been a really short chapter, eh? The last short one for a while *sobs*

In this part the author jumps around a bit in the time line without explicitly splitting the parts. Thus it may be a bit confusing, but be assured, I was confused too!

After this chapter there are 2 or 3 interludes and an omake coming up. After that there won’t be any for a long time. Though with me translating Hachinan chapter parts every week and the other 2 series, I’m not sure when I will be able to work on the interludes *sigh* Really sorry for that, but nothing I can do about it.

sorry for the one week delay on the releases, I had some errands to run iRL on the weekend, so I had no time to translate anything. Well, now I’m back (though I still haven’t read a single online web novel chapter for 2 weeks now, kinda scared of the backlog).

This chapter is significantly shorter than the previous one, thus I split it into two parts with part 1 being pretty much exactly at 50%. The next part should follow next week, if all goes as planned.

By the way, the suffix -uji means Mr./Mrs. but it’s more honorific than -san, I think.

Also, Kakei Senki wo Kakageyo! will continue from next week on as well. That one is difficult to translate and with me being quite exhausted from work over the week, I had to use at least one day a week to not actually do something productive. Though I guess I won’t get it translated if I don’t sacrifice my Saturday, huh? xD
