Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de – Chapter 39: It seems to be the continuation of the night at the deserted house

Well,

I guess I might release one more then, as I’m dead tired now anyway. Might do 41 tomorrow, depending on my status. If not, that’ll be the last one for the week as I got other stuff to prioritize next.

Ah, by the way, for all those busying themselves to send me mails about the older Nidoume chapter links not working: I know about it. Will fix it on weekend. Preferred to translate instead of doing mundane work, but maybe I was wrong there? :O

Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de – Chapter 38: It seems to be a night in the deserted house

With my previous release rate of this series publishing 3 chapters would have taken 6 weeks? I guess it’s “Banzai to irregularity!”

Well, all I now need is an editor to smooth out the flow of the text. My brain isn’t awake enough during week to actually cope with that and the author doesn’t make it easy with his roundabout way of stating things. xD

Well, here you go.

Cheers,

Shasu

Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de – Chapter 37: It seems to be a preliminary investigation of the property

Heyas folks,

here’s the next one. 38 is done too, but still needs me editing it, which I surely won’t do tonight.

One thing I thought I should mention after translating 39 today: This author uses a lot of sfx. Usually I incorporate those into the text, i.e.: “she laughs with a *giggle*” becomes “she giggles”, as it makes more sense to me, especially as it often also is “she giggles with a *giggle*, which might sound nice in Japanese but is totally whack in English. Still the author uses partially so many sfx, which are also difficult to incorporate easily, that I will from now on sometimes just use the Japanese romaji and put an explanation behind them.

Also, I know that some links are broken in the ToC and navigation of this series. I will fix them once I got time, but until then, just use the navigation bar at the top. All chapters are listed there.

Well, enough blah blah from me

Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de – Chapter 36: It seems to be the search for a base of activity for starters

Once upon a time,

a little Shasu was idling around while singing “la la la.” Having finished stocking up on all kind of stuff he was wondering what to do with the free time that suddenly popped up and then he remembered some series’ he tossed away almost a year ago now.

Well, in fact no one picked it up (ah yea, there was some odd guy, but well even google translate has its limits, at least for now) and yet readers all over the world are continuously bringing up the title whenever a translator considers a new series. Or is it always the same guy?

Oh well, whatever might be the case, I thought I might as well put up another series I do mostly for the readers and not so much for myself, see Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou!

Ah, before anyone asks stupid shit like “How often will you release chapters?” or “Can you release it at least once weekly?” I shall tell you: I will release the chapters once I have time. Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de has the lowest priority on this blog as series. Once I fill up the queues for the other series’ I will translate that one or if I get whimsical, I might also translate a chapter or 2.

Of course, if any other translator wants to earnestly work on this, I won’t do stupid crap like a dual translation. But, well, we have seen how well it worked out so far…

Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de – Chapter 35: It seems to be sequel 2

Good evening,

this chapter marks the end and beginnings of some things.

First off, it is the end of the arc “Something like an introductory part” which the author calls as “chapter 1.” The following arc is called “Something like the compilation of activity” and it has 44 chapters (including interludes).

Next it marks the end of my translation of Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de. Some may ask why. But, I can ascertain you that it’s not because I dislike this series at all. Although slow, this story advances at a steady rate and presents the reader with a collected, shrewd MC who manages to adapt to his own situation in a proficient way. There are some discrepancies in the story but it’s a web novel after all, so blaming the author for it is kind of disrespectful in my eyes.

So why am I dropping this? The major point lies in its slowness and my slowness. As of now the author has released 323 chapters (including interludes). Going by my current pace, I might catch up to the novel in about 10 years. Although I could at best increase the release rate to once a week, I am not inclined to do so because it is fairly difficult to preserve through all those filler chapters without getting discouraged if you are translating at a slow pace. If my RL allowed me to, I’d love to release 2-3 chapters per week, but that ain’t happening. Also, I am not an egoistical prick, who thinks it is fine to keep hogging a series, I can’t deliver at a decent rate, to myself. Thus, after considering it myself and seeing some people complaining about the slow release pace, I decided to let a different translator pick up this series in the hope that they will be able to go at a faster pace than I am capable of.

I would be glad if future translators could drop me a line at [email protected] in order to at least avoid various translators picking up the same novel. 🙂

Well, an end usually always means a beginning, thus I will announce here that I will be translating Kakei Senki wo Kakageyo! on a weekly basis starting with 9th July. That series is finished at something around 140 chapters with a light novel adaptation, though I will translate the web novel. I am yet not certain if I can keep up that pace considering my RL, so it is merely a temporary announcement as of yet.

Oh yea, I am still looking for editors, thus don’t be shy and apply you candidacy!

Well here you go with the last chapter of Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de from my side.

Greetings,

Shasu

Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de – Chapter 34: It seems to be sequel 1

Heyas folks,

sorry for the delay. I was swamped with RL, tiredness and other tasks and thus couldn’t finish my intended release spree for the anniversary.

Well, not like it’s too late either way, you get today another two chapters of Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de.

Ah, by the way, make sure to read the announcement of the next chapter release! 😉

The chapter is actually self-edited, so feel free to point out any mistakes you find, well, before Kruncs finds them. 🙂

Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de – Chapter 32: It seems to be something a bad boy would do

That’s all for today. Please forgive me for not having the time and resources to do mass releases in one go as other groups. 😉

Thus I will split it up a bit and keep them coming for a bit. ^^

Oh yea, both chapters released today are self-edits in case you are wondering about the sketchy English at some parts. :p

Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de – Chapter 31: It seems to be the conclusion

Heyas folks,

now you are surprised, eh? Why release Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de today? No I didn’t make a timing error.

Today marks the first anniversary of this blog (well to be precise it was yesterday) and since the first release of this blog has been Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de, I thought I might give you guys some anniversary releases. Of course I am more than happy to receive some anniversary gifts as well *evil smirk* 😉

It has been a long year and of the series’ we began with only Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de and Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! remain. And even that will change before long. Well, we also added series to this blog in the meantime, so I guess it evens out in the end. ^^

I have seen many translation groups come and go in this time and thus I am glad that our group continues to release regularly. I hope that we will be able to continue for many years to come and I also hope that you, the readers, will stay loyal and enjoy to read our works.

Greetings,
