Hakai no Miko – Chapter 3: Beastman

Heyas folks,

first, I changed “Divine Son” to the gender-neutral “Divine Child” in this and the previous chapters. This will still allow the usage of “Divine Son” or “Divine Daughter” but keep it easier to handle in the further translation of the novel.

Second, there are three LN volumes out, but when I tried to purchase a digital copy at my usual place they weren’t listing the volumes. As far as I could see the volumes can only be bought on Amazon as hard copies. Well, I could do that but it wouldn’t serve you guys any purpose as my scanner is an old model that won’t do any good in properly scanning in the illustrations. Unless one of you is willing to buy the books and scan them in properly, there won’t be any illustrations for this novel.

Lastly, I’m looking for a dedicated editor for this series. As you can see, the language is rich and complex. My current editors are occupied with my other projects, so if you’d like to help editing this one, contact me at [email protected]. Requirements: Native-level English and willingness to dedicate for a long-term project.

Enjoy~

Hakai no Miko – Chapter 1: Summoning

Heyas folks,

after I released the foreword of this series, I was approached by DC from Yado Inn and he kindly offered me his translated version of chapter 1. As such this is a chapter translated by him and TLCed/edited by me. Thus, please extend your thanks to DC as well. 🙂

A little remark about the format of this series; the author tends to switch PoVs quite often (in the same way as Summoned Slaughterer). Sometimes it will be the First Person view of the MC or other characters and sometimes it will be a Third Person narrator view. Well, finding out is half of the fun, so I won’t especially announce the PoVs. 😉

Anyway, enjoy~

News: Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de – Anime in 2018

And here I was browsing the twitter feed of Ido Masa, the author of Summoned Slaughterer, and suddenly stumbled upon those news. Well both authors publish under the same label, HJ novels, so I guess it’s only natural that the author of SS would forward an official announcement of HJ Novels.

Probably some of you already know, but Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de gets an Anime starting in October this year, see here.

At least it now makes sense why J-Novel Club has picked up that series, which had already around 15 volumes at the time they announced their licensing, and is pushing the release rate of the novel volumes (currently they are half through volume 3 after less than a half year since starting).

I suppose it helps to have connections to the industry. 😉

Cheers,

Shasu
