And here I was browsing the twitter feed of Ido Masa, the author of Summoned Slaughterer, and suddenly stumbled upon those news. Well both authors publish under the same label, HJ novels, so I guess it’s only natural that the author of SS would forward an official announcement of HJ Novels.
Probably some of you already know, but Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de gets an Anime starting in October this year, see here.
At least it now makes sense why J-Novel Club has picked up that series, which had already around 15 volumes at the time they announced their licensing, and is pushing the release rate of the novel volumes (currently they are half through volume 3 after less than a half year since starting).
I suppose it helps to have connections to the industry. đ

Nice, however not sure I like the face of the MC for the anime , or is it the angle ? Like the manga face better , trying to remember if the novel had his face but recall it , kinda hard to check since it was purged hehe

I think Renya’s face in the anime is actually closer to the novel illustrations than the manga version is. Thus you might argument that it is closer to what the original source intended, but in the end it’s all a matter of the anime designers’ tastes, possibly in compliance with the publisher and the author.

Ah yeah , maybe it’s the angle then, because I like the face on those that are on the link you gave , he looks more badass on those and in the manga compared to the only image I seen from the anime , not saying it’s bad or anything just that he looks maybe too nice ? Like a real nice guy look that is not really fitting his kinda warped personality (maybe warped is too strong but when he enters killing mode he gets savage hehe)
It was licensed that’s why the translated chapters were removed?
We were asked to remove the chapters which have already been released as LN. As J-Novel is currently at vol. 3 of the novel, I removed all the remaining chapters as we had just started on vol. 4 anyways.
