Prologue – In the Far Northern Reaches

“Is this everyone you managed to gather, Keitzel? I see that all of the regulars are present, but what about the supporters who endorsed our ideal?”

“It seems like those people were just talking. Even though we went out of our way to invite them to our great project 『World Conquest Alliance』…”

“No helping it. History books tell us that the demon kings and nobles, who achieved great feats in ancient times, also had few followers at the beginning. But many of them, who possessed outstanding foresight, left their names in history. Geniuses who achieve great things are rarely understood by ordinary people at first. In other words, the ten comrades gathered here are all excellent men who can predict the future. Of course, the same applies to you as well, Keitzel. Be proud of your foresight.”

“You’re absolutely right. I’m sure our aspiration will come to fruition.”

I, Otto Heinz, the leader of the 『World Conquest Alliance』, have been sparing no effort to bring back the great and powerful demons of old since our contact with the humans. In addition to doing lobby work with politicians from the ruling and opposition parties, I held guerrilla speeches in various places to gather like-minded souls for our cause.

Being told that it was forbidden to hold rallies without permission, I was arrested by the police several times. At those times, the young police officers would treat me like an idiot, but in the end, it was just the rambling of corrupt government dogs. It didn’t leave any impression on me.

Fortunately, the number of supporters of the 『World Conquest Alliance』 exceeded a hundred as our ideology continued to gradually spread among the younger demons. The idea of obtaining power, influence, and whatever you want by making use of our large mana pools to freely use magic, as the kings of old did.

The 『Magic Training Courses』 endorsed by me were extremely popular, and a few dozen young, jobless demons started to practice their magic in the countryside, outside of public attention. Their demon instincts should awaken very soon.

As might be expected, even I didn’t wish for a conflict between fellow demons. The target of our regained magic prowess would be the humans.

In contrast to the demons, who were worried about their declining birthrate, the humans were increasing in number like rabbits. Soon they’ll run out of living space. And it’s obvious that they’ll target our subcontinent next, then.

Accordingly, we’re going to conquer the world and place humans under our control.

However, no matter how many times I explained this to the government and the wealthy, they didn’t approve of our idea, citing moral reasons and a lack of personnel and funds. Given that there are also reasonable people among humans, they claimed they could gain more from them through trade. None of them could see the danger waiting for us demons in the future.

Even if they were to make good money now and even if we’re lacking soldiers, it’s crucial to decide and act swiftly, yet…

This is why these foolish politicians, who are yapping about peace at any price and can’t think ahead, are so damn useless!

Hence, I decided to take action myself. I resolutely made up my mind to leave this country. Staying in the demon country would only corrupt our minds. Which reminds me: there was someone who illegally fled to the demon country for his own research. Moreover, he wasn’t punished for it either.

We spent the last month rigorously training our magic out in the wilderness, and today was the celebratory day when we would officially leave for the outside world, but… according to Keitzel’s report, not a single one of our supporters was going to join us.

“When we previously called for their participation, many of them said that they’d join in, and yet…”

“What about the donations?”

“It’s a lot less than expected, too.”

This has turned into a really saddening outcome. Keitzel and my other comrades appear to be deeply worried, but I won’t get depressed over a setback of this level.

“All of you, it certainly might be worrying to have such a small number. But, look, it’s not just about gathering many people when accomplishing a great feat. Even if you get many people to get together, they’ll just stand in each other’s way, and fights over the leadership will break out among them, turning them into what’s often called a disorderly mob. In the past, many people failed at achieving greatness for this very reason.”

“You’re right. Such demon kings existed in the past.”

“Correct, Keitzel. Just having big numbers isn’t enough. I see no reason to be depressed about this situation. After all, you, me, and the others here are the true elites who possess the necessary motivation, decisiveness, and ability!”

“”””””””Yeeeaaaaa!!!””””””””

“We ten have a lot of mana too! Magicians with a lot of mana are regarded highly in the outside world, or in other words, the human lands. I hear you can obtain status and riches by being such a magician. In other words, we can achieve a lot in the outside world, even with a small group.”

“True. As long as there are ten of us, we do not need to fear hundreds or thousands of humans.”

“It’s just as you say, Keitzel.”

“So, Comrade Otto, what are we going to do after leaving this country and entering the Lingaia Continent?”

“We can, for example, invade some place and create a new demon nation. We will sell our magic power to the human leaders, and if they hire us, we will turn them into our puppets while ruling over the human land ourselves.”

“”””””””Yeeaaaaah!””””””””

“But, it’s still too early for that. First, we have to obtain another big power.”

“Comrade Otto, what power are you speaking of?”

Keitzel asked me, representing the others.

“Actually, I bought something like this at an antiquarian bookshop.”

It was something I had discovered by coincidence. It was a very old document written on parchment, but it was an investigation report of the Ancient Magic Civilization, which perished on Lingaia more than 10,000 years ago.”

The demons of the past dispatched research teams when the Ancient Magic Civilization perished overnight. Documents from that time still remain.

“Comrade Otto, you did well to have found something so valuable.”

“It was sold to the bookshop after having its price beaten down. Recently, there’s a tendency among demons to deem such things acceptable as long as they can earn some money with it. With the values and culture of the ancient demons having become obsolete, precious documents like this one are being pawned off for cheap at the bookshops of this city.”

Even this deplorable tendency should be addressed once we achieve our big goal.

“So, what was written in that document?”

“According to this, they not only investigated the Lingaia Continent, but also the ice continent in the north.”

“Are humans living on that ice continent as well?”

“As can be predicted, only a few people have settled down there. There are no civilians over there. Because the country followed some sort of intention with it, the army apparently established a base on the ice continent. But when the Ancient Magic Civilization perished, the things necessary to survive in that icy land stopped being transported there. They didn’t suffer any direct damage from the large explosion that brought down the Ancient Magic Civilization, but they apparently returned to Lingaia. Ever since then, the ice continent has remained uninhabited, according to the document.”

“Comrade Otto, are we possibly heading over to that uninhabited ice continent? And if yes, for what reason?”

“The number of humans who settled over there with the intention of living there was zero. But it has the advantage of being outside of public attention. Accordingly, what if a state or army has been secretly developing and producing weapons over there? This was one of the worries mentioned in the document. 『Under the eternal layers of ice in the far north…』. Unfortunately, I cannot read the letters beyond that because they have become too faded, but it’s very likely that we’ll find the source of our new power over there. Since it’s an area where an intense winter is reigning, I think it’s going to be a challenge, but I’m sure we’ll be able to recover that source of power. I plan to head over there. How about, my fellow comrades?”

“I agree with this plan.”

I expected that Keitzel would support this.

“I will join as well!”

“Me too!”

“Me as well!”

Everyone agreed to participate in my suggestion.

“Very well. All that’s left is to put it into practice! This rotten Republic of Zontark has no future left! We will revive as powerful demons and rule over this world!”

“”””””””Yeeaaaaah!””””””””

“No matter how small our numbers might be, we ten should be able to achieve everything we put our mind to. Our first destination will be the far northern lands. We will definitely secure the source of our power, the legacy of the Ancient Magic Civilization, in that place!

*   *   *

“The Empire is finally in the process of getting a hold of all the chaos caused by the civil war. The restoration is proceeding smoothly, and you can already see us growing even further. The possibilities of the land in the north…the government has been considering how to use that land economically, besides migration, since before the civil war. Sadl,y it seems like it’s a place that’s very unwelcoming for humans.”

“Count Burdon, it’s a challenge to even farm land that’s covered by thick layers of ice all year long. Maybe you can fish some and find promising mineral resources. The real target of the territorial expansion should be the eastern continent.”

“But, Viscount Heart, the Helmut Kingdom should be headed for the eastern continent. We must make haste or the Empire will be put in a tough situation.”

“The eastern continent is further away from Lingaia than the western demon continent. Besides, Helmut Kingdom’s real aim is likely the southern continent. That Earl Baumeister…no, he has become a margrave, hasn’t he? I hear he used his own soldiers to annex many southern islands. The aim of the Helmut Kingdom is probably to have the Margrave Baumeister House provide colonization support for the southern continent.”

“Well, our Empire can’t make a move towards the southern continent, after all.”

“Still, Margrave Baumeister, huh…? Going by the rumors, he has taken girls from those southern islands as his wives…”

“I hear the retiree of the Duke Philip House is basically being treated as his wife as well. He seems to have played an active role during the civil war as well, but right now he’s probably in the center of attention among the nobles.”

“They say the retiree of the Duke Philip Hose gave birth to his daughter. The high-ranking nobles in the imperial capital are fighting behind closed doors about how they can somehow build a connection to him through marriage. As far as His Majesty is concerned, he probably would prefer them to stop with this.”

“Even though the civil war ended just recently, the courtiers at the imperial court are acting just as usual.”

“We hate that place, and that’s why we applied to research this wintry land.”

“You’ve got a point. It’s far more significant to explore the icy region.”

We were ordered to explore the northern continent by His Majesty. I, Earl Burdon, and Viscount Heart succeeded in building a base camp near the beach located at the southern tip of the northern continent. Having said that, most of this continent is locked up by ice, so it’s impossible to do agriculture over here.

As such, we have to rely on the regular delivery of grain and vegetables through magic airships.

The lucky part is the abundant fishing grounds and the animals that live in these northern lands. They were evaluated as animals because they don’t possess magic stones inside their bodies, but we might find them in the monster domain once we send out an exploration team from the base camp.

“Earl Burdon, we will likely face many difficulties in the northern exploration. As such, we must be thoroughly prepared. We also have to report back to His Majesty.”

“True. But it sure is a pain that we cannot use magic airships for the explorations.”

This freezingly cold continent is swept by a terrifying blizzard every few hours. It’s no problem during good weather, but if a magic airship is caught by a blizzard mid-flight, it will definitely crash. We can only use the usual magic airships around the most southern coast, where we also built our base camp.

“I guess we should be thankful for not having to worry about running out of supplies.”

“In the future, we can try to maintain this base camp as a fishing port, and if there are rich mines further inside the continent, it’d be fine as well, but…”

“We’ll have to wait for the results of the investigation. With the airships out of the race, the only method for the exploration group to move will be dog sleds, I suppose.”

“It’s a big help that we got Duke Philip to sell us many wolf hounds.”

“Wolf hounds are resistant to cold, and although they have large builds, they also possess stamina. They could be put to use during the civil war, but the Duke Philip House’s Dog-Sled Corps is famous.”

“Since we also got him to lend us sled drivers, we’ll send out several exploration teams once everything is ready, and create a map first and foremost.”

The creation of a map is essential for the Empire to prove its claim on this northern continent. You can rightfully call it our most important task over here. Viscount Heart’s and my families have been involved in land surveying and map creation for the imperial army for generations, but that work comes with a lot of danger. Sometimes you have to enter monster domains, and many dangerous species also exist among the animals in unexplored areas.

Above all, even if we’re all nobles belonging to the Empire, no noble would be happy about someone arbitrarily making maps of their territory. Because of that, landed nobles would occasionally plot assassinations by criminals who hid in uninhabited areas, attacks by monsters and ferocious animals, and accidents to get rid of us.

The Empire has concluded a ceasefire with the Helmut Kingdom more than 200 years ago, but both sides have been secretly sending in people to create maps of the other side of the Gigantic Rift. The objective is to be prepared for a potential future war.

Drawing maps and such is apparently considered intelligence work, but the people actually doing the work are people like us, known as hawks even among the imperial army.

Given that we don’t directly appear on battlefields, society doesn’t see us as such, but drawing up maps comes with many dangers, and many of our ancestors died in the line of duty. Creating maps is not that challenging, but at the same time, it’s crucial for a nation.

Because it’s a special skill, we kept a completely neutral stance during the civil war. Even Duke Nürnberg didn’t go so far as to meddle with us. Since our map-making skills would be necessary, regardless of who wins in the civil war, I guess you can only call that natural, though.

“Our current mission is to draw up a map of this ice-covered land as quickly as possible.”

“I guess we should hurry with the preparations.”

“Yes, so it seems.”

Moreover, we must ensure we regularly send reports to His Majesty. After all, he’s our most prominent sponsor.

I hear the courtiers in the capital have been noisily chirping around, but even if they denounce us as incompetent in the imperial palace, it’s unthinkable for them to come to this freezing cold place and carry out the explorations themselves. It sounds like the kingdom has such nobles as well, but they hadn’t found a method other than ignoring such people, either.

“Not having to deal with those people is already a big boon from coming to this northern region. The rumored Margrave Baumeister seems to have it even more difficult than we.”

Be it a royal or imperial palace, the only purpose in the lives of courtiers seems to be criticizing others.

“No kidding. I’m sure the land survey folks in the Helmut Kingdom must be thinking the same.”

“Which reminds me, I heard rumors that the kingdom dispatched its special friendship delegation.”

“The one, which was carried out every five years, got dragged into the civil war and didn’t serve much purpose. Since the trade volume between both countries is going to increase, they’re apparently going to increase the mutual visits.”

“I didn’t know that.”

Viscount Heart has sharp ears, considering that we’re so far up in the north.

“There’s also the diplomatic negotiations with the demon country. This is unofficial information, but His Majesty seems to have visited the kingdom in secret a little while ago. In return, the kingdom is going to send over His Highness Crown Prince Wald as leader of the friendship delegation.”

“It’d be great if both countries could forge a food relationship.”

Us making maps is in preparation for a war, but there would be nothing better if those maps were never used.

“The crown prince of the Helmut Kingdom is coming to our Empire, huh…? The courtiers must be kicking up a fuss like a bee nest that has been poked with a stick.”

“It’s going to end with them just making a racket anyway. Let us speed up the preparations to send out the exploration teams while providing accurate reports to His Majesty.”

“That sounds like a good idea.”

Still, a temporary friendship delegation, huh? I wonder which nobles will be accompanying the crown prince. Margrave Baumeister? There’s also the matter with the daughter born between him and the retiree of the Duke Philip House, so I guess they won’t deliberately visit the imperial capital in this phase.

*   *   *

“Wald, are the preparations of the friendship delegation progressing smoothly?”

“Yes, everything is going as planned.”

“I see. In that case, it’s fine, but at present, I cannot allow any of our ministers to participate. The fruits of this sort of event only manifest over a long period of time. If you, the next king, let many young nobles, who will likely steer this country in the future with you, participate in this, they will be able to build personal connections with His Majesty Peter and his retainer,s which will in turn make future negotiations easier. If possible, I’d like one major noble to participate, but I don’t have the luxury to ask for that under the current circumstances.”

“Father, let us have Margrave Baumeister participate in that case.”

“Margrave Baumeister, eh…? That man is quite busy himself. Will it be okay?”

“That is the very reason for his participation in the friendship delegation. We must have him work for the sake of the Kingdom for a long time to come. If he joins the delegation, he’ll also be able to get a bit of a break.”

“Oh, I see. There won’t be much practical work during the friendship visit. Its ultimate objective is to show the friendship between the two countries to the Empire’s nobles and people. Besides, I hear Margrave Baumeister is on close terms with His Majesty Peter as a former comrade-in-arms. Moreover, he’s a major noble, so I think it might be a good idea to have him participate.”

“Then let us go ahead with that.”

In reality, it has been planned for me, the crown prince of Helmut Kingdom, to go to the Holy Empire of Urquhart as leader of the friendship delegation. The previous friendship delegation didn’t yield much result due to the sudden death of the late emperor and the civil war, so this visit will serve as a substitute for it.

Furthermore, the matters that the Empire and Kingdom must discuss have increased. A visit every five years won’t be enough to address this, so it’s necessary to provide more opportunities for officials from both countries to meet.

The upcoming friendship visit is a first test run for this.

After telling my father about the delegation’s lineup and the progress of the departure preparations, I received the advice that it’d be best to have another important person join, besides the crown prince. But it goes without saying that all the ministers are currently busy with the demon country negotiations.

In addition, the friendship delegation is an event planned to allow promising young nobles of the Kingdom to meet with His Majesty Peter and young imperial nobles. It’d bear little meaning to have an older noble participate, even if they might be important.

Having said that, if the friendship delegation doesn’t have a single major noble with it, it might be regarded as unimportant. Accordingly, I suggested that Margrave Baumeister join. He’s young, and he’s good friends with His Majesty Peter and his friends. And above all that…

“(It’s going to be a trip to another country with Wendelin! How wonderful! That is truly what friends do!)”

After returning to my room, I savored the joy of having accomplished my plan atop my bed. Given that my wife and child would probably hear me if I celebrated loudly, I continued to rejoice inside my mind.

“(I’m going on a trip with a friend! Moreover, to a foreign country! As if I wouldn’t look forward to that!)”

With this, no one should doubt that Wendelin and I are best friends anymore. I was deeply relieved that my father had approved Wendelin’s participation in the friendship delegation.

“(There are also events like meeting with His Majesty Peter and young imperial nobles, but they’ve included quite a bit of freetime in the schedule. In other words…)”

We’ll be able to travel incognito during our free time to sightsee in the imperial capital and enjoy commoner desserts and meals as well. As might be expected, my exclusive cooks won’t be allowed to come along this time. As such, I’ll be able to fully enjoy the local specialties of the Empire instead of “food that is suitable for a future king.”

‘(Where should we go? Oh, right! I have to get a sightseeing guide for the imperial capital as soon as possible!)”

Controlling my nagging advisors and attendants should go well at the destination. Exploiting that opening, I’m going to have fun in the capital with Wendelin.

“(This sure is going to be lots of fun. Also…)”

Let’s finish up all the accumulated work until the friendship delegation departs. If someone brings up work-related matters during this precious trip, it’d completely spoil it.

“(I must make sure that Wendelin cannot say he hasn’t heard anything about this)”

I’m going to send out the participation order for Wendelin as soon as possible.

“(Wendelin must be busy as well. As long as I tell him early on and get him to finish his work ahead of time…)”

…he will be able to enjoy the sightseeing with his best friend without any distress.

“(I’m so hyped about this)”

I’m already totally excited. Let’s get fired up and quickly wrap up all the work so that it turns into a fun trip to the Empire.

*   *   *

“Eh? Again? Roderich, the Friendship Visit Delegation is already a thing of the past, no? Last time it turned into a disaster as we got dragged into the civil war, you remember?”

“It’s not a Friendship Visit Delegation, but a Friendship Deepening Delegation. I’m told that the opportunities for mutual visits between the two countries will increase from now on. First, His Highness Wald will visit the empire, taking many young nobles as a delegation to assess the situation. If there are no particular problems, the chances for ministers and high-ranking nobles to visit the Empire will increase a lot more.”

“And they’re telling me to participate in that Friendship Deepening Delegation? Moreover, is it His Highness Wald’s order?”

“Yes. According to the decree we received from the palace a bit earlier, that seems to be the case.”

“Young nobles…includes me?”

When I returned in the evening after finishing my public works, Roderich brought in a decree from His Highness Wald. According to it, I was to join the friendship deepening delegation, which would be dispatched to the Empire with him as its leader.

“Given that it’s the first group, they seem to prioritize young nobles who might be placed in important positions in the future. Since His Highness Wald, and not His Majesty, serves as the delegation leader, it’s probably been decided like that with the future of the Kingdom in mind.”

“And that’s where I come in, huh…?”

“Do you hate the idea? Personally, I believed that you would be rejoicing, claiming that it would be a great opportunity to have some fun in another country, Milord…”

“Do you take me for a little kid!?”

I couldn’t help but retort.

“Normally, I would be happy about the participation in the Friendship Deepening Delegation. But, you see…”

“Is something the matter?

“Friedrich and the other babies are becoming bigger with every passing day! Not being able to observe them would be terrible!”

I really wonder… just how cold are the people of this world to those who have just become parents? Leaving aside my daily work, which Roderich has scheduled so I can finish by evening, if I head out to a job where I’ll be staying over, I won’t be able to see my babies every day, will I!?

“In reality I’d like to take a maternity leave, but while holding back on that I’ve been using my magic every day for the sake of the Baumeister Margraviate, and yet…I’d like to be spared from going to the Empire right now.”

I mean, I can go there whenever I feel like it anyway. Once my babies grow up, it might be nice to go on a sightseeing tour in the Empire with my whole family.

“Umm…men cannot take maternity leave…”

“That’s why I’m enduring so hard, okay!? If I were to speak frankly, I feel like taking maternity leave for at least three years.”

“Even the maids in this mansion don’t take maternity leave for three years. The limit is one year at most.”

He’s got a point, I guess. Even on Earth there exist mixed views about men taking maternity leave, so it’s only natural that it’s even more complicated in this world.

“In the first place, even if you were to take maternity leave, you are absolutely useless when it comes to raising the children, Milord.”

“…You really don’t hold back at all, do you…?”

He’s right. I have basically no experience in how to raise children, but…so far as it goes, I am the lord of this land.

“Rather than having you raise the children yourself, it will make everyone much happier if you were to develop your territory with your special magic. There is a common saying called ‘the right person in the right place’.”

“……”

I couldn’t return anything because Roderich’s argumentation was just too sound.

“If you are worried about the burden on Elise-sama and your other wives, you do not need to. We have maids for this very reason!”

“……”

Now that he mentions it, it does sound reasonable. Otherwise, it’d be too much with that many babies. My wives would collapse from all the baby-care work.

Probably because I grew up in a family of office workers to begin with, I couldn’t understand the idea of leaving the care of your babies to babysitters…or maids.

“With that said, it would be great if you could join the Friendship Deepening Delegation for the sake of the future and growth of Friedrich-sama and the other babies, Milord.”

“It sounds like it’s going to take quite some time…that visit…

“No, with your magic, you can return to this mansion whenever you have free time, right, Milord?”

“You’ve got a point there.”

I don’t know about the other participants, but I have Teleport at my disposal. It allows me to return to my mansion in no time and check on my children, even if I’m working on a construction project far away.

In that case, it’d mean I can play around in the Empire to my heart’s content without having to do any work? Only young nobles will participate in the Friendship Deepening Delegation, so it’s not like it’s going to be a work meeting.

“(Somehow I’m starting to look forward to this. I guess I’ll go and visit Peter and the others for a bit) If His Highness nominated me, I cannot change it. This too is a noble’s duty.”

Even if it’s a Friendship Deepening Delegation that’s half play, it’s impossible for me to turn down a decree from the crown prince.

“I see. Will you accept it then? That is wonderful to hear. Then allow me to change your schedule, starting with tomorrow.”

“Huh? Change my schedule?”

“Yes. If you are going to participate in the Friendship Deepening Delegation, the usual public work operations in the territory will be suspended. As such, I must have you work harder until the day of your departure, Milord.”

“For real?”

Is he going to make me work even more than I already am?

“Come to think of it, you are able to use Light as well, so it should pose no problem for you to work at night as well. Though I shall make sure that you secure enough sleep to recover your mana. You will be able to take a good rest during your trip with the Friendship Deepening Delegation.”

“No way…”

“Please enjoy the Empire to the fullest.”

Just like that, it was decided by Roderich that I’d be working all day long, except for the times when I had to sleep, to develop the Baumeister Margraviate during the time until my departure to the Empire. My entire schedule was crammed with work except for the times when I ate, slept, or took a bath. I wondered whether this couldn’t be considered a violation of the Labor Standards Act or something like that, but unfortunately, such a law didn’t exist in this world.

Ah, I’m a noble to begin with, so I guess you can’t really describe me as a laborer…

It was also impossible to look for a different job at Hello Work. Hence, I ended up toiling away without rest for the sake of my darling babies.

“Which reminds me, you were able to go to the imperial capital with Teleport, weren’t you, Milord? Since you do not need to board the airship of His Highness and the rest of the delegation, you can work for the two days it’s going to take them to get there.”

“……Eh?”

“Milord, there exists nothing as precious as time in this world!”

“……”

Never before did I feel so strongly that Roderich must be an oni.

*   *   *

“Delicious sweets, check! Tea, check! I also have games with me. I must make sure not to be negligent in preparing my wonderful time with Wendelin during the two days of travel from Stadtburg to the imperial capital.”

We’re going to travel to the imperial capital in a magic airship, but a book said it’s normal to eat, enjoy some time, talk about random stuff, and play games with your friends during a boat trip.

As crown prince, I never did anything like that up until now, so I’m really looking forward to it.

“I really hope my time with Wendelin arrives soon.”

A two-day trip with my friend. I’m really looking forward to this.

I mean, there’s no way that additional documents would arrive on an airship mid-flight, so this is the best opportunity. As long as I wrap up all paperwork before getting on board, I’ll be able to enjoy my trip with Wendelin uninterrupted.

“We’re going to talk during the flight and deepen our friendship. I’m so looking forward to that.”

I have become the leader of the Friendship Deepening Delegation, but there will be almost no real work waiting for us over in the Empire. I’ll get the Empire leaders to remember my face as the next king. In addition, I think I’ll manage a few friendly get-togethers for the young nobles of both countries.

As for the remaining schedule…

“I’m going to enjoy an Empire sightseeing tour with Wendelin! And I’ll deepen our friendship! Isn’t that wonderful!?”

Since many of the young nobles, who will be participating in the Friendship Deepening Delegation, have already started to board the airship, Wendelin should soon arrive as well. I really would love to have that fun boat ride with the two of us as soon as possible.

Ah, I hope you can show up soon, Wendelin!
