  2. This is nice, thanks alot for this

  3. what was the name of kurts wife again?

  4. Thanks

  5. The ranks are a bit confusing

  6. when’s the new chapter coming ?

  7. Thx for this, Shasux.
Maybe you need to add the description of nobility rank to the glossary. I always forgoting about it haha.

Also, adding physical decription of the character would be nice for better story immersion. The author is lack of it and only describe it in first encounter. It make me always swapped image between louise & ina 🙁

  8. Could you please add in the currency exchange and how it compares to yen?

    Thank you.

  9. Shouldn’t Luise and Ina be included in his harem since they basically gave themselves to him in a bow plus he is now of age i guess lol

  10. Just curious about why ブランターク become Burkhart? Well it’s dismissable actually, I just tried to read the raws and then I found the name ブランターク which I read as Brantarg or something close to it and confused who is he and then I realized that it refers to Buckhart in your translation. Though I admit that yours is closer to actual western name I just find it weird that only his name is translated quite far from the actual Japanese transliteration compared to the other characters which seemingly close to the actual Japanese.

I’m not complaining or asking to change it though, I just found it as a peculiar case and become curious about it. I’m sorry if this has been mentioned on some chapter itself or something and I missed it ><

    • I don’t mind you asking. The katakana is something like Burantaku. Usually I would have also gone for something like “Brantag.” But that’s no German name whereas his family name is clearly German. So I tried to vocalise it differently and checked the web for names that could fit more or less. The result is “Burkhart.” I won’t claim that it is a precise naming because it isn’t, but since the author chose a German naming for the characters in Helmut kingdom, with a few exceptions, I wanted to stick to it. 🙂
Hope that clarifies it a bit. ^^

      • Ohh you replied it fast, thanks, that clarifies things.

Well indeed sometimes Japanese author is quite inconsistent in lending other country’s word/naming sense xD it’s a funny experience though since I’ve been reading this series from your translations and when I’m reading ahead from the raws there’s always a sense of awkwardness everytime his name appears as “Branta(a/r)g(/k/c)” since “Buckhart” is ingrained in my brain as the correct name ^^;a

  11. Wow i think I’m gonna start readinhg this cuz the mc is already betrothed to three girls and it seems like it would increase even more

  15. What are the name of Kurt’s kids

  16. Could you break down the Noble Ranks more thoroughly. They explain from almost every rank except Earl or its equivalent. There is no mention of an ordinary Count just the superior Viscount. And the distinction of Margravate as opposed to a Marquis being in control of the South with no bordering enemy country which would make sense in my opinion.

    • Break down? You know, I don’t set the noble ranks of this novel. Well I think it was explained in one of the chapters how they break down, so I could add it to the Glossary. Have to rework this and SS glossaries anyway but that’s something to do during my vacation as it takes time to check each chapter and see what to add.
Also as for count, it is the same rank as earl. Well both use the same kanji in Japanese if I remember correctly, so you can use either and I chose Earl instead of Count.

  17. still confused about the order of the level of royalty

  18. Well if it doesn’t matter to you, I find the titles and goes fron the top to the bottom, for the duke the only ones above are the king , queen and their children (princess and prince).
    The Most Noble: Dukes
    The Most Honorable: Marquises
The Right Honorable: Counts, Viscount, Barons, Lords of Parliament, Members of the Privy Council, Cabinet Members
The Right Honorable and Learned: Those enumerated above, but if the holder is also Counselor of the Queen
The Right Honorable and Gallant: Those enumerated above, but if the holder is also military officer in service
The Honorable: Minor children of Counts, all the children of Vizcondes, Barons and Lords of the Parliament
The Much Honored: Scottish Lords and Feudal Barons

    • Sorry, that was for english nobiliary titles <> this are the german nobiliary titles:

      -Emperor / Empress
      -King / Queen
      -Grand Duke / Grand Duchess
      -Elector / Elector
      -Archduke / Archduchess
      -Duke / Duchess
      -Prince / Princess
      -Margrave / Margravine
      -Landgrave / Landgravine
-Count / Countess of the Empire
      -Count / Countess Palatine
      -Burgrave / Burgravina
      -Altgrave / Altgravine
      -Count / Countess
      -Baron / Baroness

      • Thanks for the list, but half of them haven’t turned up in the novel (yet?). Though I need to look into Burgrave and Altgrave as I never heard of those before (maybe something like Vogt in german?). By the way, in this novel I used Earl instead of Count, the kanji in Japanese is the same for both, not sure if there’s a difference though.
I will update the Glossaries tomorrow, at least I planned to.

  21. I feel like some of the characters need their status updated or to be added to here. Like Amalie being Wend’s mistress, the girls are married to Wend now, Katharina getting her noble title and her tsun part kinda dies after her engagement, and Erw getting Harukua. On that note, the Empire’s major players, especially Therese. Other than that, this is a great glossary and I hope you can stick with this novel till the end… even though the end starts getting weird.
