here’s the first part of chapter 61. I cut it at 25% as the author placed a paragraph end around there too, didn’t have much time today to get more translated.

first off, a big thanks to Aldo A., Alec. R. and Marcio M. for donating towards an extra chapter of Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! It didn’t add up to an entire chapter but as mentioned last week already, I will release 2 instead of 1 part at once today. Thus you get a bit to read today thanks to them, and it’s an interesting read too. ^^
One note from my side: As I did with part 1, I changed the tenses around in this chapter. It kinda disturbs me, if the author talks about past events while using present tense. As it is a change from my side, I wanted to at least mention it.
The next chapter has 20k chars aka is ~20% longer than this one so I will probably split it into 4 parts depending on how much time I got.

Hello everyone,
today you get the first part of the new Hachinan information dum… err chapter. I cut it at 35% at an appropriate place (by my standards). The PoV for the first part is Hermann. The author was screwing around with the tenses, so I took the freedom to fix them up a bit.
Also, I will disable the option for extra chapters of Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! after today. The interest was rather low this time around anyway, I guess. As for what was donated up until today, I will release next Sunday the missing 2 parts, instead of only 1, of the chapter (will cost me something like 9 hours of writing a text wall in one go, but whatever).
Ah yea, one last thing, mainly aimed towards the native English speakers: I’m looking for a new editor for Hachinan tte sore wa nai deshou! Well, I guess that I don’t really need to tell you, that it’s you missing out on content as I can’t really reproduce the nuances of the different kinds of speaking styles of the characters (high-handed, noble, crude, etc.) as non-native English speaker, though I can differentiate them in Japanese. With a proper editor, it would become easier to read those text walls, too, since most can probably fix the flow and add some more flavour to it, but oh well. You know how to contact me or likewise you can simply send in an edited version of chapter 24.

today you get a extra chapter from my side.
Kruncs, who has been working as editor on the team for around 1,5 years, will retire from his active duty starting with May due to real life.
As translator I can’t offer him much as reward for his great work other than a chapter of his favourite series, which was also the reason he joined our team back then. Although he might not have been mentioned much in my recent release posts as being the editor due to him mostly doing post-release edits nowadays, I deeply appreciate his effort and dedication and am sad to see such a good editor go. But, all of us can’t always avoid what real life throws at us. Thus I want to thank him with this chapter, of course edited by the person himself, and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

as promised, the last part of chapter 58 of Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou!
Been a longer part which took me about 8 hours to write down, so you get a bit of a text wall to read.
On another note: The option for extra chapters for Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou will be disabled next Sunday as I want to stock a bit of chapters for other series’.
The next chapter for the Sunday release is quite long with 17k characters (excluding spaces). Thus I will likely split it into 3 parts.

This time’s a bit shorter cause that’s what I did last Sunday. Had no time to translate this Sunday due to RL issues. Well, I thought, better post 40% than nothing, so that’s what I did.
Will try to get the chapter done next Sunday, but no promises here as I’ve got errands to run next weekend and thus might even skip a release next week for this series. Well, let yourself getting surprised. đ

first off, I fixed all the links in the Table of Contents and for the page navigation of Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de. Even the old NovelUpdates links should work now. If I missed something, do tell me please.
Next, I added an option to get extra chapters for Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de and Summoned Slaughterer. Please note that regular releases have priority in all cases. Currently there is one sponsored chapter of Summoned Slaughterer per month thanks to the INT Patrons, any further extra chapters will be released as time permits with a mentioning of the sponsor(s). Same for Nidoume no Jinsei wo Sekai de, I will try to release 1 chapter / week of that one, but no promises here. If you want to increase the release speed, feel free to donate.
As for Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou!, that’s only limited to my holidays, so if you want to boost the release speed for that one, then you gotta grab the opportunity!
And one more: Lately I have been re-considering how to treat sfx. Usually I incorporate them into the text, i.e. instead of “laughing with a *giggle*” it’s “giggling” but especially Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de and Summoned Slaughterer are sometimes very sfx heavy. Personally I prefer to incorporate them, but I shall be kind and let you guys decide.

today you’ve got to praise me. Shasu-jiji stood up at 8 am on a Saturday and sat down to translate your favourite series at around 9 am! As such, I’ve been diligent and finished the entire chapter until 4 pm! Thus I’ve got next Sunday off !!!! No Hachinan for you, but time for me to work ahead!!! kukuku
That also allowed Kruncs-san to edit the chapter in advance for a change instead of after release!
Next is an announcement:
Starting 10th April I’ve got 2 weeks of vacations. Well, I plan to stock up on this n’ that but I also considered whether there might be some interested in extra chapters. Of course the regular Sunday releases will continue as before, no matter what. But as we are now through the majority of interludes of the entire series, I thought we might as well switch to extra chapters during my vacations.
Now, how do I charge those? Well, I took the example of another Translator, who seems to mostly release extra chapters and made a simple calculation: I tossed the next 20 chapters into one file and made an average excluding the spaces. The result is 16,9k characters per chapter. There seem to be professional sites translating at a rate of 0,03$ per character. That would result in around 500$ per chapter. However, I don’t claim to be a professional neither do I try to run a business here. The rate per chapter will be 100 Euro.
Please be advised that I don’t demand it of you nor do I encourage you to donate for the extra chapters. I personally prefer to stockpile chapters for series’ I choose. But, considering that the author has picked up the release speed, I’m offering a way to boost the release speed of Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! in the free time I have. I will limit the amount of extra chapters to 5 for my vacation. Anything that goes beyond that will be handled during work time with a delay.

Evenin’ folks,
with this chapter 56 is done. Though Katharina is quite the annoying character. She even talks in this strange way of adding “wa” at the end of sentences, though I didn’t put that into the chapter as it has no real equivalent in the English language. Well, you might call her the stereotypical, haughty ojou-sama type. How very annoying.
Oh well, whatever. By the way, this chapter took me in total 16 hours to write down. *sighs* Chapter 57 luckily doesn’t seem to be as long but I still plan to split it into 3 parts for now and if I feel diligent I might get it done with 2 parts. We shall see.
