Well originally I didn’t plan to advertise the series’ here any more but since there was a slight gap since the last chapter was released on TA, I will use this chance to promote the latest chapter as it is a double release for a reboot of TA.

Hello folks,
today is the release day of your favorite novel Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! It was another long chapter and took me about 10 hrs in total to translate or rather write it down. xD
Now, before you novel addicts click on the chapter link, first listen to some administrative stuff:
As I mentioned in my previous blog message, interludes will be now handled as Extra Chapters unless I deem them to be integral part of the main story line. On the sidebar you can now see a button and a list of the upcoming chapters/interludes. I will keep that one updated so that you can always see when the next interlude in sequence is up as Extra Chapter.
Each interlude will require 60 Euro. You ask how I got to this weird sum? Well I put the first 10 interludes in one huge text file, did a character count (51k without spaces) and divided that by 10 to get an average. Including an editor and administrative fee, that’s what I got after setting 10 EUR/1000 chars.
You can regard these donations as encouragement for me to translate the interludes at all and as motivation to get it done quickly in-between the regular 2-week rotation.
If I deem this successful, I will include regular chapters as Extra Chapters on long non-interlude sequences albeit with a different charge due to length.

Good evening my fellow novel addicts,
first off, sorry that this chapter got slightly delayed. I intended to finish it last weekend but RL got the better of me and so I had to postpone it a bit. Well, the wait was worth it as I think it is a fairly good chapter by the author. 🙂

Now, for those, who care about the administrative side of translation:
Last week I conducted a little poll regarding the Interludes within Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou!
A total of of 783 readers voted – 56,45% (442 votes) went toward keeping it as I handled it until now aka translate them as they appear – 26,58% (208 votes) prefer me ignoring them completely aka leaving it completely up to me and 16,99% (133 votes) asked me to handle the Interludes as extra chapters.
Now, of course, I wouldn’t have started this poll if I were satisfied with keeping things as they are, as some of you should have realised *evil grins*. I read the result as 56,45% in favor of keeping and 44,55% in favor of changing the handling of those chapters. Looking at it like that, that’s no real profound majority, is it?
Thus I decided to try going with the extra chapter option. Some may be unhappy with that but I think it is a proper compromise. It allows those who want the Interludes translated to actively push for it and as bonus you will get those chapters faster than the regular 2-weeks-rotation as I will try to squeeze the translation in between my work days just like I did with this week’s Nidoume chapter. Naturally that also means more work for me and less freetime after work but if it is for novels I can cope with that more or less.
I will implement the function this coming weekend. Just one thing you should know in advance: the week from 18th until 24th January my parent’s wedding day, my mother’s birthday and my own birthday are coming up, so I don’t think I will have that much time during that week. xD

As a little New Year’s gift I bring to you Interlude 4 of Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de!
Next up is Chapter 18 of of the same series’ before I go back to Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! again. I am positive that I can manage at least one more chapter in the pipe this weekend, not sure whether I manage both of them though.
From 4th January onwards my regular work hours will restart so both series’ will go into a 2-weekly release pattern.
I have also added a FAQ for some of the more commonly asked questions, please make sure to read it before asking any standard questions. 😉

once more I shall do some gifting. This time it is for Kruncs. And, apparently, BakaGrappler succeeded in persuading him into choosing yet another chapter of I work as a Healer in Another World’s Labyrinth City! So that’s what you get today as well —> Chapter 7.

Now onto another topic:
Some may have read it in a previous blog message in the past, I am no fervent supporter of Interludes/Intermissions/Bonus Content. Well if it is part of the main storyline like in Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de I don’t mind it of course. But as for Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou! it has just been simple side content so far. If it were for my own opinion, I would leave it out completely as it doesn’t really interest me, but well, I am a kind person and do consider the opinion of my dear readers occasionally … or more like when I feel like it? :p
So, I shall open a poll for 3 days to get an idea what the majority of you, the readers, think. In case the results are even between some of the options, I will choose myself. You are also free to discuss it in the comments, but keep it polite please. 🙂

Good evening minna-san,
a selected few of you might have pondered whether I went into winter hibernation. Well while that might have been nice, it’s (un)fortunately not true. After releasing the latest chapter of Nidoume no Jinsie wo Isekai de I proceeded to translate 2 Chapters of Summoned Slaughterer. Those will be released soon after the next chapter (chapter 25 ) has been posted. Afterwards I plunged into translating the huge workload called chapter 35 of Hachinan tte, sore wa nai desshou!
Well with working right until Christmas, spending time with family etc. on Christmas, we finally managed to get it done.

Now as for the coming translations: I promised my dear loyal editors to each choose a chapter of a series of their liking to be translated as belated Christmas gift. So look forward to that. After that I intend to translate Interlude 4 and Chapter 18 of Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de before translating Interlude 8 and 9 of Hachinan tte, sore wa nai deshou!

Well this one went surprisingly well as it only took me about 6 hours all in all! ^^ (I am used to worse from this author’s long-winded sentences 😉 )
Since none of my editors seem to be around this weekend, this chapter is a high quality self-edit! For any incomprehensible or awkward wording in the chapter I blame the Japanese language! Un! Un! *nods his head in agreement*
