One further info: The two girls appearing in the two parts are likely the two girls shown in the color illustration of Chapter 1.

This marks the end of Act 2. It’s a shorter chapter this time around as I couldn’t match the story together with the following one, content-wise. The next ones will be longer again. Also, we’re slowly approaching the first climax and the end of the Light Novel Volume 1. Look forward to it~

One short update: On NU the series has been labeled as having gone on a hiatus at 277 raw chapters. The author wanted to get some time to work on his new novel (a story about a class being transferred to a different world). According to his most recent postings, he has restarted writing DunBat, though.

The author also mentioned that DunBat’s getting a manga. Just a little heads-up~
