One short note to avoid confusions: When the humans and the hero speak of the goddess, they mean that green-haired bimbo, err the human supervisor, not the little girl who summoned Renya. It was my own decision to use “goddess” instead of “god” (which the author uses) for her as the humans should know that she’s female. 🙂

Heyas folks,
first off, yesterday it was announced that Ascendance of a Bookworm will get an anime adaption by Ajia-do Animation Works. Mitsuru Hongo (»World Trigger«) and Hideki Kawasaki will be the directors. The voice actor for MaĂŻne will be Yuka Iguchi, who voiced Index in To aru Majutsu no Index, and another character that hasn’t yet appeared in the translated story will be voiced by Sho Hayami, who recently voiced Azami Nakiri in Shokugeki no Soma. A date hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s something to look forward to (below you can also check the first visual for the anime production). 🙂
